Leukoencephalomyelopathy (LEM)
Leukoencephalopathies are disorders of central nervous system white matter resulting in progressive demyelination.
Age of Onset: 1.5 - 4 years
Sex Predisposition: Any sex of animal can be affected
Clinical Course:
Clinical signs often present acutely and progress over the course of several months

Movement
Ataxia
**Generalized weakness
Hypermetria
Proprioception
**Proprioceptive deficits
Spinal Reflexes
Exaggerated reflexes
